After crossing several obstacles, finally, the production of the film Black Panther: Wakanda Forever is restarting its filming from the next week. Actor Letitia Wright has been healed from his injury and COVID-19 infection. Now, Marvel fan-favorite character Shuri (Letitia Wright) is ready to get back to her work in Atlanta.
The production of the had initially to restarted from last Monday. But, it was delayed because some cast and crew of the film were tested COVID-19 positive. The shooting of the film is due to resume in Atlanta in the next week.

Letitia Wright Injury
Last August, Letitia Wright suffered from an injury while filming a sequence of a stunt in the location of Boston. Production of the film was stopped after shooting the scenes by the team as they do without Shuri’s character. The production was stopped in late November. Shuri (Letitia Wright) was continued to heal from her injury at her home in London.
Letitia Wright COVID-19 Vaccination
Letitia Wright, a British citizen, had expressed her anti-COVID vaccine sentiments. So, everyone was looking at her. Late last year, CDC implemented the rules for non-immigrants and non-citizen air travelers that the vaccination is a must to travel to the USA. They must be fully vaccinated and the vaccination certificate has to be produced before boarding on a plane. Wright had not provided any vaccination status, but many sources confirmed that the problems had been solved.
Shuri’s Come Back
Wright’s agent mentioned that she is always intended to return but before that, she needs to get recovered fully.
It can be expected that the delay in resuming the film will not impact the release date of the movie. The current release date of the film is 11th November 2022. The release date has already been changed earlier. The earlier release date was 8th July 2022.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever has crossed many obstacles. Black Panther star Chadwick Boseman had died of colon cancer in August 2020. For this reason, the filmmakers have to reconceive their project without the presence of Chadwick. In 2018, Shuri (Letitia Wright) became a breakout star who was acted as the sister of Black Panther. Shuri was elevated as the lead actor of the sequel. It is not clear whether this elevated status will be continued in the next sequels of the future movies or not.
